I am a certified makeup artist specialising in bridal, airbrush and special occasion makeup. I started my career in makeup in March 2018 after studying at the Norwich School of Beauty. After attaining my qualification in makeup, I set up Rebecca Birch Wedding Makeup.
My career background is as a registered adult nurse, and as surprising as it may sound, I believe I have many transferable skills to carry over to my new career path in makeup artistry! Professionalism, intuitive communication, impeccable equipment cleanliness, reliability, and above all a desire to help people to feel good are all skills in which I have already been proficient for many years, and have such an impact on a client’s experience. After years of wishing I could work as a makeup artist, I decided to take the plunge and start my makeup training. I am so glad I made that decision. Creativity, art, and a passion for makeup is what really drives me, and I can’t tell you how unbelievably lucky I feel to be able to really and truly LOVE the job I am doing now. I am so grateful to have been entrusted with a bride’s beauty for her special day.

In my journey to setting up my business, I have made the decision to only invest in cruelty free brands and products for my professional makeup kit. I believe that the truest reflection of our beauty encompasses our ethics, beliefs and attitudes as well as our appearance. I believe we all have a responsibility to live as ethically and kindly as possible, with as little negative effect as possible. All products in my kit are of excellent quality, and are selected because I have total faith in their results- I wore many of these products on my own wedding day!
